Hi I just want to know if in everyone's objective opinion, leaving negative feedback for excessive shipping is fair ? I am a buyer and was charged USD 84 for priority international for 3 items (2 tops & a cap) which should have been no more than USD 40 I'm sure. The seller said these are charges for the item to be sent to him, and for boxing/packing material, and for his fast service of shipping it out within 30 days. All sellers ship within 3 days as far as I have known, and no one...

I will be leaving Ebay after 10 years, 1947 100% perfect auctions and $65,000 in sales, because Ebay will not remove a Negative Feedback from my record by an Australian Criminal, who had claimed to not have received an item, tried to Place a Non Receipt Paypal Claim, which was immediately denied when they looked at the USPS Website which shows the item was delivered. The buyer continued to threaten me with a Negative Feedback if I did not send him additional items. I reported this all to Ebay...

US and CA Sellers beware DRS Policy Flaw could close your eBay Account, it happened to me and it could happened to you VERY IMPORTANT READ! An unforeseen flaw in the DRS international calculation logic empowered one buyer to strip you from “Top-rated” badge, restrict or cancel your account permanently Scenario Buyer in United Kingdom, Seller in Canada Seller sold one buyer in the UK and 300 buyers in the US and CA in 30 days time period UK Buyer purchased 5 items, UK Buyer is...

It has finally happened. My first feedback extortion attempt. Buyer in Australia (I knew I shouldn't have started selling overseas) caims a 100-year old bracelet I described in Excellent condition is "corroded on the inside", where you can't see in the pictures I posted. I know it is not, and I normally don't accept returns (no one's ever asked), but I said send it back and I'll refund your money. (There was alot of interest in the bracelet and I could have easily resold it.). She wants...

Just wondering if there is a trigger point at which a person that leaves numerous negs and neutrals would face any repercussions. For example, someone that has left 50 negs and neutrals so far this year. Is Ebay so bad that it's likely that over 10% of all transactions are not positive? Or does it seem that this may be a case where someone is abusing the system in order to get refunds on purchases from sellers that are worried about protecting their feedback. I don't see anywhere that I...

Wow! The buyer wins the item and receives it.... Then starts screaming SNAD - dirty, and missing litho's. We emailed back calmly stating that we looked at the auction and the LARGE pictures clearly showed the part in question being badly stained and missing litho's. "What do you want us to do?" We get "I SEE THE PICTURES SHOW THAT IT IS JUNK! I SHOULD HAVE LOOKED AT THE ITEM AND PICTURES! GUESS YOU GOT THE LAST LAUGH - THE HOUSE IS JUNK! I GUESS THAT EBAY REALLY ALLOWS YOU TO SELL...

My account was recently suspended for bad rating performance (I think). I have received about 8 Negatives in the past 6 Months. Here is the issue: 2 of the negatives came from people who bought and wanted me to ship over seas. ALL of my auctions clearly state "SHIP TO U.S. ADDRESSES ONLY". I immediately refunded their money with a note stating exactly what the auction says. Both left negative feedback. I appealed to eBay but they have not addressed it at all. I did nothing wrong and still...

I won auctions Link Link Link Paid for shipping three times and seller just sent all items in the same UPS package. I'm really pissed because not only did she way overcharge shipping, but then she shipped all items together. What should I do about this?

So, I win this item and the seller marks shipped hours later. Problem is I have a P.O. box and seller ships UPS! Seller straightens it out with UPS. Four days later I look up tracking and Item shows delivery two days earlier. It also says item left at front gate. My front gate is open and my house is 100 yards off the street! Why did they not put the item on my front porch?! Long story short, Item was stolen! What feedback should I leave the seller who tried their...

dear friends, I want some advise of what to do regarding two negative feedback placed in a row by a troubled buyer who wanted me to give him extra items without paying for them. He used to be a regular buyer during several weeks and placed a lot of extremely good feedback for me, and then he started to send me a lot of emails suggesting me how to manage my business and also was trying to be a very intense friend and wanted to meet my wife and daughter.. I just tried to be friendly in a...

I bought and received a CD that contained a trojan horse virus that Norton Internet Security could not remove. While the seller promptly refunded my money, I wonder how many others may have installed it without running a virus scan first and whether it could have been intentional. For those of you who have a lot of experience with ebay, what kind of feedback would you leave?

Hi Folks! Gosh this is a fun place! I've gotten some good answers to questions I had that were actually posted by others, so I thought I'd try one on my own. I've been reading some REALLY bad feelings from sellers about buyers that bug them to leave feedback. So far, I'm just a buyer (hope to be selling soon), and I've only had one seller wait awhile to leave me FB. Now, I don't want to tick anyone off; so what are the rules (if any) about leaving FB for each other? I leave it as...

I wish sellers would return feedback in a timely manner. If you have done good business with them why can't they return feedback? Does ebay remind them that they have feedback comments to return?

Buyer is in Australia. Buyer made a BO of $9.99 on an item, which I accepted. Buyer paid $30 for priority shipping because they needed it immediately. It cost me $27 to ship, so it's not like I made any money off the shipping. Buyer filed a PP claim on, with no contact at all, claiming the item was damaged. They said in their claim that they wanted "some of their money" back. Well, I don't do partial refunds, so I escalated the claim to get my dress back. They emailed me, off eBay and...
